Most of our products, such as: coins, badges, medals, tie clip, cufflink, and other handcrafted products are using high pressure to stamp the metal sheet from the top to the bottom with the stamping equipment. The surface can be presented as 2D or 3D effect mostly according to the customer’s artwork and requirement.
Metal level effect
The 2D effect : The raised metal only with lines and blocks, without curves and relief layering.
The 3D effect : The 3D pattern of relief metal has the sharp outline, vitality, and a layered sense of curve.
Background/recess metal effect
Mirror effect : like the gloss reflection in a mirror
Glossy effect : Similar to the bottom of the normal coins, although it is shiny, but not as bright as like a mirror.
Background pattern : If customer’s design is without coloring, the background pattern could be select, such as : grid pattern, hairline pattern, and lines pattern …etc. to add visual richness.
Sandblast : The sandblasting effect looks more dense and fine than pebble texture background
Pebble texture background : The sand granule looks coarser and more grainy than sandblasting
Shiny & Matt finished
After pressed and strongly stamped, the surface of the metal product shows the convex and concave effect.
The raise metal part comes out as bright after polishing, and the recess parts appear foggy or sandblasted effect. With this kind of finished is to make the contrast of the bright and foggy of overall product more obviously.
Metal crafted product- Antique finished
The stamped metal products will present an antique and nostalgic atmosphere after dyed with black liquid and polished works.
Metal product-Etching
“Etching” is very similar to the stamping metal product, both could be produced with enamel colors, but the recess area of the etching metal piece is not as depth as the stamp metal piece.
The design has to have a metal line in between the colors as a separation which is to be possible for coloring. It also can be corrode through to have a hollow effect.
Usually, this kind of production method is suitable for bookmarks, name plate, dog tags...etc.
Soft enamel/Lacquer
The color lacquer is to be injected into the metal recess area, and then to be baked in the oven for drying. The surface has layering effect and it’s necessary to have a metal line in between to be possible for coloring.
Soft enamel+epoxy
Adding poly (epoxy resin) coating on the surface based on the color lacquer finished metal piece is resistant to chemical corrosion and to avoid the scratch on the surface. Also, to increase the surface gloss and brightness as a decoration.
Printing+epoxy
It’s not necessary to have metal line separation between the color blocks.
This kind of production method will be considered and commonly used when the design is complicated to be enamel or when it is with gradient colors.
It can also be used to meet the special needs of monochrome colors printing.
Usually, the printing products are coated with poly (epoxy resin) to protect the printing from fading and scratch.
Fake enamel
The finished surface is flat, smooth and the color is brighter than fire cloisonné, but the hardness is not as hard as the fire cloisonné. The metal border is also require, this is to separating the colors in between.
Fire cloisonné
If compare with the fake enamel, the feature of the fire cloisonné is: the surface is much harder and has pores (not smooth like fake enamel).
